YUMMY HEALTH TREAT WITH BROKEN WHEAT

 Today I have brought u  a very healthy protein recipe
To begin with we all know that on daily basis we need that amount (in grams) of protein equal to our body weight . for eg if the body weight is 70kgs we need 70gms of protein.

PROTEIN WONDERS
Protein is an important component of every cell in the body. Hair and nails are mostly made of protein. Your body uses protein to build and repair tissues. You also use protein to make enzymes, hormones, and other body chemicals. Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood.
Along with fat and carbohydrates, protein is a "macronutrient," meaning that the body needs relatively large amounts of it. Vitamins and minerals, which are needed in only small quantities, are called "micronutrients." But unlike fat and carbohydrates, the body does not store protein, and therefore has no reservoir to draw on when it needs a new supply.
So you may assume the solution is to eat protein all day long. Not so fast, say nutritionists.

How Much Protein Is Enough?

We've all heard the myth that extra protein builds more muscle. In fact, the only way to build muscle is through exercise. Bodies need a modest amount of protein to function well. Extra protein doesn't give you extra strength. Many people who have jumped on the high-protein/low-carb bandwagon think that they can pack away as much protein as they like. But nutrition experts urge caution.
SO in my next blog i will be highlighting good protein. Today im sharing one good protein ie natural source protein.

step 1 
INGREDIENTS

1 CUP DALIYA (BROKEN WHEAT)
1 1/2 CUP MIX VEGGIES FINELY CHOPPED
(CABBAGE , FRENCH BEANS, CAPSICUM , CARROT AND CAULIFLOWER )
1 BIG ONION FINELY CHOPPED
1 GREEN CHILI CHOPPED
1/2 CUP GREEN PEAS
1 TBSP MUSTARD SEEDS (BLACK)
1TSP REDCHILLI POWDER
1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
SALT TO TASTE


STEP 1. FIRST WE HAVE TO SAUTE DALIYA (BROKEN WHEAT) TILL IT TURNS BROWN.
AND THEN ADD WATER ENOUGH SO THAT IT CAN BE COOKED TILL SOFT BUT NOT MASHY
FOR 1 CUP DALIYA IT WILL NEED AROUND 2-3 CUPS WATER.
PRESSURE COOK AFTER STEAM FOR AROUND 7-8 MINS ON SLOW FLAME AFTER WHISTLE OF THE COOKER.

STEP 2.  TAKE A DEEP PAN PUT 4-5 TBSP GHEE OR VEG OIL OR OLIVE OIL BASED ON YOUR PREFERENCE AND ADD MUSTARD SEEDS LET THEM TAMPER AND THEN
SAUTE ALL VEGGIES FOR 3-4 MINS

STEP 3. ADD DRY MASALA AND TURN OFF THE FLAME

STEP 4. AFTER STEAM IS ESCAPED FROM COOKER ADD DALIYA TO THE PAN AND MIX WELL .
SERVE HOT
